Refund policy
Return Eligibility
Orders are eligible for a return provided that they meet the following criteria:
● Must be unworn (tried on only), unwashed and in the original packaging with tags attached. Hygiene sticker must remain intact for swimwear products.
● Must be free of perfume, body odour, deodorant or washing powder.
● Must be free of make-up, tan marks, glitter + pet hair.
● Must not be marked as final sale.
● Receipt or proof of purchase.
● Returns must be received within 14 days of purchase.

Refunds
Refunds are sent back to the original payment method used.
We do not provide monetary refunds on change of mind or size returns. Where a product has a fault or does not meet Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Salty Kids Co. does not guarantee stock for your exchange order, as exchanges are subject to availability. Your return order will only be processed once your return is in transit back to us, unless you have selected an instant exchange.
Postage Fees
Postage fees will only be covered by Salty Kids Co. where a product is found to be faulty or the incorrect order has been packaged + sent.
Postage costs associated with all other returns will be at the customer’s expense.
International orders: Salty Kids Co. is not liable for international customs duties, taxes or fees. International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We cannot offer a flat-rate satchel for your return.
Warranty + Care
Swimwear
Salty Kids Co. swimwear is designed for regular water play and, when cared for correctly, is made to be enjoyed season after season.
Swimwear Care
● Hand wash separately in cold fresh water after each use.
● Do not machine wash.
● Drip dry in the shade.
● Do not bleach, wring or tumble dry.
● Do not leave rolled up or wet.
● Do not iron or dry clean.
● Avoid exposure to highly chlorinated pools + spas. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after use to help prevent discolouration and deterioration.
● Fake tan and sunscreen lotions may damage swimwear. Take care during application and ensure lotions are completely dry before they come into contact with your swimwear.
● Avoid contact with rough or abrasive surfaces, as this may cause pilling or tears to the swimwear fabric.
● Keep swimwear out of direct sunlight where possible, as prolonged exposure may cause fading or bleaching.
● To prevent corrosion of hardware from saltwater, rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each use.
Colour Care
Our contrasting colourways, particularly black-and-white designs, require extra care.
Always hand wash separately in cold fresh water and rinse thoroughly after use. Do not soak or machine wash.
Colour transfer or discolouration may occur when swimwear is machine washed, soaked, washed with other garments or exposed to excessive heat, chemicals or prolonged moisture.
Damage or discolouration resulting from failure to follow the recommended care instructions may not be covered, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Wetsuits
We provide an international warranty on Salty Kids Co. wetsuits purchased directly from Salty Kids Co., with receipt or proof of purchase.
1 year warranty on all stitching + zips, in the case of the stitching or zips breaking.
Not covered by warranty:
● Damage caused by anything other than defects in workmanship.
● Damage caused by extended or extensive exposure to sunlight, improper handling or storage, or failure to follow care instructions provided with this product.
● Second-hand products with existing defects or samples.
● Normal wear + tear, including scratches, fading and screen-printed logo lifting.
● Wetsuits repaired by another service.
Wetsuit Care
● Sun and UV rays damage neoprene. Keep out of direct sunlight.
● Turn inside out and drip dry in the shade.
● Hand wash separately in fresh cold water immediately after each use.
● Do not machine wash.
● Wetsuits are designed for water play only.
● Do not hang on a wire hanger.
● Do not bleach, wring or tumble dry.
● Do not leave rolled up wet.
● Do not iron or dry clean.
● Avoid exposure to highly chlorinated pools + spas. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after use to help prevent discolouration and deterioration.
● Sunscreen lotions may damage wetsuits. Take care during application and ensure lotions are completely dry before they come into contact with wetsuits.
● Avoid contact with rough or abrasive surfaces, sharp objects + excessive friction on sand, as this may cause tearing to the neoprene fabric.
● To prevent corrosion of hardware from saltwater, wash thoroughly with fresh water after each use.
